The company
Consistency as a manufacturing discipline
CHEM KARIS began manufacturing specialty chemicals in Korea in 2003. We started with textile auxiliaries, added water repellents as the core of the business, and later built an industrial line around fluorinated lubricants and concrete admixtures.
What has not changed is where the effort goes. A specification can be met once by anybody. Meeting it on every batch, for years, is a manufacturing discipline — and it is the reason customers who switch to us tend to stay.
We supply mills, dyehouses, finishers, brand sourcing teams and chemical distributors.

From formulation to despatch
Development, laboratory testing, production and export support are all handled in-house in Korea.

Grades are developed in our own laboratory to your specification, or matched to a sample you send us.

Grades are produced to order, with continuous supply once your grade is set.
Regulatory Documentation
Technical data sheets, safety data sheets and declaration support are prepared with the shipment.

Drums and IBC totes, palletised, strapped and labelled for the port — the last step we handle before it leaves Korea.

These hold whether an order is one drum or a full container.
Quality before price
A grade is priced on what it has to achieve. The cost of a failed lot is larger than any saving on a drum.
Say what the product cannot do
Our fluorine-free range repels water and not oil, and we say so plainly rather than let a finish fail a buyer’s test.
