Textile Finishing Agents
The last stage, and the one the buyer judges by hand before they read a single test report.
What they do
Properties added after the colour is set
Finishing is where a fabric acquires the qualities that are not inherent to the fibre: a particular handle, a surface that sheds water, a knit that does not cling, a lining that does not slip at the seam.
Most of these are applied on the same pad–dry–cure line, which makes compatibility between them a practical question rather than an academic one. We confirm it per grade.
- Handle built to the buyer’s description, not a generic softness
- Durability through the stated number of wash cycles
- Compatibility across a combined finishing bath
- Antistatic and anti-slip where construction demands it
- Applied on conventional pad–dry–cure ranges

Product groups
What we make for this stage
Each group covers several grades. Add-on, cure window and wash durability vary by grade and substrate, and are given in the technical data sheet.
01
Silicone softeners
A smooth, full handle with slip and resilience.
02
Wax softeners
Softeners based on wax emulsions, for a soft handle without silicone in the recipe.
03
Amino silicone fluids
Amino-functional silicone oil for soft, smooth silicone finishes.
04
Wax water repellents
Paraffin wax emulsions for water repellency.
05
Silicone water repellents
Water repellency with a softer handle than a wax finish.
06
Antistatic agents
For synthetics and linings that cling and attract dust, particularly in dry conditions.
07
Anti-slip agents
Raise yarn-to-yarn friction on smooth filament fabrics so seams hold and the construction does not shift.

How these sit alongside the CK GUARD ranges
The wax and silicone water repellents on this page are separate from CK GUARD WR-SERIES and CK GUARD N-SERIES.
The CK GUARD ranges are built for wash durability: a spray rating held through a stated number of washes.
