CK GUARD WR-SERIES is a C6 fluorocarbon-based water and oil repellent for textiles, leather and other applications, developed by CHEM KARIS. Free of PFOA and PFOS, it delivers water, oil and soil repellency for polyester, nylon and cotton fabrics. It is suited to sportswear, uniforms and functional textiles that need long-lasting protection and comfort, while supporting today's environmental requirements.

Fluorine-Free (C0) Water Repellent
CK GUARD N-SERIES is a fluorine-free (PFC-free) C0 water repellent with no PFOA, no PFOS and no fluorinated compounds in the formulation. It delivers durable water repellency for cotton, cotton blends and synthetic fibers, for outdoor apparel, sportswear and home textiles. It is a water-repellent finish only: where oil and soil repellency are also required, CK GUARD WR-SERIES (C6) is the right choice.

Choose C6 Water & Oil Repellent
Use CK GUARD WR-SERIES when a specification calls for water, oil and soil repellency, such as sportswear, uniforms, protective and medical fabrics and PU synthetic leather.
Choose C0 Fluorine-Free Water Repellent
Use CK GUARD N-SERIES when water repellency without fluorochemicals is the priority, for example when a brand customer specifies a fluorine-free (PFC-free) requirement.

What is a C6 water repellent?
A fluorocarbon-based DWR finish built on short-chain C6 chemistry, delivering water, oil and soil repellency without PFOA or PFOS.
Are these products PFOA- and PFOS-free?
CK GUARD WR-SERIES is PFOA- and PFOS-free. CK GUARD N-SERIES contains no fluorochemicals at all.
What is a fluorine-free (C0) repellent?
A PFC-free finish with no fluorochemicals. It gives water repellency only, not oil or soil repellency.
Which materials can be treated?
Typical substrates include polyester, nylon, cotton and PU synthetic leather. Contact us to confirm suitability for your material.
Which one should I choose?
